Step N' Time School of Dance Arts, Inc. was founded in 1991 by Heather
White and was created to give students an
opportunity to have excellent dance training in a proper facility.
The school offers
an assortment of dance disciplines, nationally recognized dance educators, and
many dance performance opportunities. Classes range from classical ballet
to off the street jazz and are open to a variety of age groups. Our faculty members have extensive dance training and certifications and are members of the Cecchetti Council of America, Florida Dance Masters and other dance organizations.
Since 2005, Step N’ Time School of Dance Arts,
Inc. produces a full length version of the Nutcracker Ballet that is performed in December. The professional backgrounds, specially
designed costumes, and classic holiday story make it a tradition everyone can be a part of.
Students may enter the American Academy of Ballet’s
Performance Awards. Mignon
Furman, the creator of Performance Awards, evaluates our students on a non-competitive level and each
student is given recognition for his or her performance. Step N' Time offers Cecchetti Council
syllabus examinations for the serious ballet student.
Step N’ Time is proud to be one of the first
schools worldwide to implement the Enchanted Doorway dance program. It is a
series of lessons for 3-6 year-olds, created by Merle Sepel, designed to
stimulate creativity, increase coordination, and introduce young children to
the art of dance.
