We offer age appropriate training for our students in each discipline of dance.  Training exercises are utilized in carefully devised levels, taking account not only the age, but more importantly the strength, maturity and experience of each individual student.  By adhering to this regimen, each student has the chance to properly master the necessary skills before progressing to the next level.

Creative: Classes for beginning students age 3& 4. The students participate in Pre-Ballet, Tap, Acrobatics and Improvisation. They also learn to: listening, following directions take turns and share.  Musicality, terminology, technique, coordination, creativity and self-esteem are part of the curriculum.

Creative 2: Classes for students age 4 & 5. Creative 2 is for the 2nd year pre-school and 1st year kindergarten dancer. Students continue to learn terminology and proper technique in Pre-Ballet, Tap, Acrobatics and Improvisation. Coordination, class decorum, musicality, creativity and self-esteem continue to be taught at this level.

Ballet: A classical discipline of dance incorporating technical exercises to improve balance, poise, strength, flexibility & elevation. Students also study classical ballet terminology, musicality, mental focus, self-esteem and performance. Pointe is incorporated into appropriate levels.

Jazz: A stylistic dance discipline that is based on primitive and social dances. Rhythmical movements, technique, flexibility, isolations, terminology, performance, core strength and style are all part of the jazz dance curriculum.

Tap: A percussive dance form teaching syncopation and rhythm. Students study traditional and contemporary styles of tap. Technique, style, musicality and terminology are included in the tap curriculum.

Modern/Contemporary:  A non-traditional dance form based on fundamental modern and contemporary techniques.  Modern dance encourages dancers to use their emotions and moods to design their own steps and routines. Another characteristic of modern dance in opposition to ballet is the deliberate use of gravity. Whereas classical ballet dancers strive to be light and airy on their feet, modern dancers often use their body weight to enhance movement. These classes have a diversity of music and include improvisation and core strengthening exercises.

Off The Street Jazz: Jazz dance for the student interested in the street style of jazz. This class is the only class students may participate in without being enrolled in Ballet class.

Acrobatic: Teaches flexibility, balance, muscle control, discipline and concentration while incorporating basic tumbling skills.

Dance Conditioning: A class to help participants increase their flexibility, along with core strengthening exercises. Pilates and yoga are incorporated in the class. Participants must supply their own mat.

Zumba: Latin dance fitness classes. Classes are open to anyone interested. Come join the party!

Adult Classes: Adult participants in tap and jazz disciplines.
