STUDIO POLICIES AND RULES
- ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS ON MISSED CLASSES.
- All fees must be paid in advance. After seven (7) days a $25.00 late fee will be added.
- Family Discount: 15%
- Make-up classes must be made up within two weeks of missed classes.
- $25.00 fee on all returned checks.
- NO GUM is permitted on the premises.
- Appropriate attire must be worn to class. Hair for ballet must be in a bun and shoes properly fitted and safe to dance in. Please refer to the Uniform List for correct attire. Students who are not properly dressed may be asked to leave the class.
- School of Dance Arts Teachers will make all decisions as to the appropriate level for each child and will inform parents if a change is appropriate.
- POINTE: Students will only be considered for pointe if they are at least 11 years old, are attending at least three (3) ballet classes per week and show sufficient strength and control. Pointe students must have their feet examined and provide a letter of approval from their physician (effective 8/06).
- Punctual attendance is expected from all SDA students. Students who arrive late may be asked to sit and watch.
- The teachers will be happy to arrange a conference at the student's or parent's request. Please do not confer with the teachers during or between classes.
- Siblings MUST be supervised. Children must be supervised when entering and leaving the building. Students may not be outside in their dance attire. The studio is not responsible for children who leave the premises.
- Parents may not enter the classroom. There will be scheduled "Observation Weeks" prior to the winter break and spring break, respectively.
- Food and drinks must be kept in designated areas. Only water is permitted in the dance studios.
- Students, Parents and Teachers are expected to pick up after themselves. Do not bring valuables. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- Students, Parents and Teachers are expected to conduct themselves with respect for each other and the studio at all times. A cooperative environment is essential for learning.
- We reserve the right to refuse service.
