Membership Fee
Each student will be charged a membership fee of $40 when they join School of Dance Arts. This fee allows the student to continue taking classes and progressing through dance for many years.
If a student decides to "sit out" for a year or two this fee will be charged again when re-enrolled to reinstate the membership. |
TuitionTuition is based on a yearly dance term (season) which begins on the first day of class and concludes the day of the spring performance.
Tuition may be paid by the season or on a monthly payment plan. Monthly tuition charges are based on the total number of weeks in each season and will remain the same regardless of the number of lessons taught within each month. Tuition is due on the first of the month. Discounts are offered for families with more than one student enrolled in class(es). |
Class attire
Dress codes encourage concentration, nurture a sense of community and belonging for dancers. Variations in attire can be distracting and contribute to feelings of inequality. More importantly uniformity in dancewear allows the teachers to assess how well the students are implementing the technique being taught, view boy alignment, muscle use and other important aspects of dance training.
